About Buddha Marketing

You might be wondering about the company name. I’m not a Buddhist, but I’ve borrowed some Buddhist wisdom that has led to my guiding principles:

Reincarnation and Sustainability

Everything you communicate lives on, and you or your company will be affected by it, even in the long term. Therefore, all communication or marketing you do should be carried out with this in mind. Quick wins through thoughtless marketing (morally or ethically) tend to backfire sooner or later. Remember that you’ll have to live with it.

Treat Everyone with Respect and Embrace Continuous Improvement

A fundamental idea in Buddhism is not to elevate oneself or belittle others, but instead to focus on recognizing and overcoming one’s own shortcomings. This way, you will become a more complete communicator.

Results

Marketing almost always aims to increase sales in the short or long term, unless you’re working in a non-profit organization. In that case, you might have other goals, such as raising awareness, for example. Regardless of your goals, you should always measure and follow up on your activities. There should always be a purpose and a goal behind every marketing activity.
